How to Use

Twice daily, apply 3-5 drops of Discoloration Defense serum to the face and neck
If using in the morning, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen
Limit sun exposure while using this product

1. Cleanse & Tone

Cleanse and tone the skin. Pat dry.

2. Prevent

Apply 4-5 drops of your anitoxidant seurm to a dry face, neck, and chest.

3. Correct

Apply 3-5 drops of Discoloration Defense serum to the face and neck. Always follow with a sunscreen.

Clinical Results

Individual results at 12 weeks.

Protocol: 12-week, clinical study, 63 subjects. Discoloration Defense Serum was applied to the face twice a day in conjunction with a sunscreen.

I took ‘before’ photos before starting the product and ‘after’ photos once i had finished the bottle. I did not see a single change to my skin in the mirror from using this product. I went back and compared the ‘before’ photo and it confirmed my thoughts - this product did nothing for my uneven skin, nor did it brighten in any way. For the price i paid for this, it was a serious waste of my money and i cannot understand what this does to other people’s skin, that it failed to do to mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MissHolly from Skin looks great Worked amazing for my pigmentation <3 I wish I knew about this product before. Although it can take some time to see results it is worth persevering. My pigmentation has now faded so much and my skin tone is looking much more even all over.

I have been using it for a few months now but wouldn’t say that it helped me with discolouration. I think sometimes it even caused more breakouts on the areas where I applied it. I still want to give another chance to this product, as I have seen good reviews. Will have a break from it and will try using it again soon.

I've suffered from post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) on my upper lip for 3.5 years, caused by prior years of clearly not using enough sunscreen, which was then worsened by a chemical peel that made it even darker! I've tried so many anti-pigment treatments (plus suncream of course) but most of them irritated my skin, therefore making the PIH worse. I've been using this product for 3 weeks & my skin is almost starting to look like how it was before the condition happened! I'm literally in awe! My only comment is that if I spend a day in the sun / near windows, I feel like my pigmentation gets slightly darker - but, I don't always have a chance to reapply my sunscreen as much as recommended. I'm going to add a vitamin c underneath & see if it helps protect my skin more. I'll post an update. Pros: Good for sensitive skin Alcohol-denat free Fragrance free Parfum free Amazing!!

However, I decided to try it on the back of my hands, where I have more sun damage, here it definitely made a difference. In summary then, it obviously works, but dependent on amount and area of uv blemishes.

I’ve been using this serum every morning after cleanser and toning water for 2 months and I’ve noticed the discolorations on my cheeks (freckles and pigmentations) also the acne scars got lighter! The skin becomes smoother as well! Easy to absorb! Great texture. No sticky face after using the serum! Very light and easy to apply! Def recommend it!!
