This advanced antioxidant serum combines 2% phloretin, 10% pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), and 0.5% ferulic acid for enhanced protection against environmental aggressors linked to premature ageing — including UVA/UVB rays, infrared radiation, and ozone pollution. Alongside powerful antioxidant protection, it helps improve the appearance of discolouration, fine lines, and uneven skin tone.

Discoloration Defense

A layerable dark spot corrector designed for daily use and proven to reduce the appearance of key types of skin discolouration. Formulated with 1.8% tranexamic acid, 1% kojic acid, 5% niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the serum visibly improves brightness and evens tone, helping to reduce the appearance of stubborn brown patches and post-blemish marks.

How to Use

In the morning, apply 4–5 drops of Phloretin CF to the face, neck, and chest after cleansing. Follow with 4–6 drops of Discoloration Defense, dabbing gently onto the forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck.

Complete your morning skincare routine with a SkinCeuticals sunscreen before sun exposure, applying generously to maintain protection.

In the evening, reapply Discoloration Defense to the face and neck after cleansing, before using any richer moisturisers or creams.

It smells fine in the bottle but once on my skin it had a metallic kind of smell that lasted a few hours. However…the results make it more than worth it!! It’s not cheap but the ingredients are clearly premium and I saw a huge improvement in the appearance of a few areas of pigmentation on my face. I actually used it in a dark spot/scare on my leg and it improved the appearance over a few weeks.

I was worried it would be too harsh for my skin but has caused no irritation, absorbs into the skin quickly leaving it non-greasy and radiant. I have noticed my skin tone has become more even and it has helped to reduce the colouration of dark spots.
