Skin Conditions Guide & Regimes

SkinCeuticals has developed a skin condition chart to provide general guidelines for using our preventive, protective, and corrective products. The definitions listed below describe conditions or skin types that respond well to SkinCeuticals products suggested within each category of the skin condition chart on the following page. The following chart is intended for use as a guide only. Product combinations could vary considerably.

Regimes

Please note that these regimes reflect a program embodying the entire SkinCeuticals line to help you incorporate our products into your existing skincare regime. Regimes may vary depending on skin type or condition and can be customized for pre- and post-rejuvenation procedures according to the recommendation of your skincare professional.

Some steps contain more than one product. For more information on which to use, please see the “Skin Condition Guide” on the previous page and consult your skincare professional.

AM Regime

Step One: Cleanse & Tone
Use a SkinCeuticals cleanser and toner as directed by your skincare professional or following the directions on the package.

Step Two: Antioxidant Treatment
Apply a thin layer of a SkinCeuticals antioxidant serum to the entire face, neck, and chest, avoiding eye area. Allow 3-5 minutes before applying additional products.

Step Three: Correct
Apply 2-3 drops of SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel, Phyto +, or Phyto Corrective gel to the entire face, neck, and chest, avoiding eye area.

Correct existing damage by using a product like Pigment Regulator or Retexturing Activator or a product like the Phyto Corrective Gel as described by your skincare professional.

Step Four: Moisturize/Protect
Apply sunscreen of choice which not only offers broad spectrum protection against the harmful UVB and the even more harmful UVA rays by using a sunscreen which will double up as your moisturizer.  The sunscreens are light enough to apply as a moisturizer.

Step Five: Sun Protection
Use a broad-spectrum SkinCeuticals sunblock as directed by your skincare professional or following the directions on the package.

*If you are using a SkinCeuticals corrective cream such as Skin Firming Cream or Face Cream, apply it in place of a moisturizer in Step Four

PM Regime

Step One: Cleanse & Tone**
Use a SkinCeuticals cleanser and toner as directed by your skincare professional or following the directions on the package.

Step Two: Correct
Use a correctional product to correct existing problems/issues as described by your skincare professional – either the Pigment Regulator or the Retexturing Activator or the Retinol.  If you are using any of these products please remember that you must use a broad spectrum sunscreen and antioxidant.  Additionally, you can use an eye product to suit.

Step Three: Moisturize***
Use a SkinCeuticals moisturizer as directed by your skincare professional or following the directions on the package

With all these regimes it is recommended that you get advice from a skincare specialist in order to ascertain what is the very best routine for you.

** If you are using a SkinCeuticals Clarifying Clay Masque, apply after cleansing and toning in the evening, once or twice weekly.
